Buhle began his journey in logistics in 2013 before gaining communications, strategy and relationship-building expertise in the media sector for a decade — all while keeping one foot in the freight industry. In 2022 he co-founded Madulini Logistics and later expanded into petroleum wholesale with Madulini Energy. Buhle was instrumental in brokering the strategic partnership with Gulfstream Energy, securing national scale and supply reliability for the business.

Thando is the Co-Founder and Chairperson of Madulini Energy, where she plays a key role in the company's strategic direction, governance and corporate positioning. She was instrumental in the founding of Madulini Logistics in 2022 and later played an integral part in the group's transition into petroleum wholesale services through Madulini Energy. Her leadership has contributed to the company's growth across fuel supply, logistics and related energy services. With a background in media, communications and stakeholder engagement, Thando continues to support the long-term vision and expansion of the Madulini group.
